Love does not get any better than this!!

I love capturing weddings, I think it is an honor to be able to capture young love. It is a time of Celebration. We have been bogged with couples calling to book there weddings....now mind you we have been booked for 2007 weddings for quit some time now and we already becoming book for next year. We have couples call anywhere from two years in advance, to a year and half, to 6 mo or less. I have had calls with there wedding in a matter of weeks.

Well the other day I had a lady call me and she wanted to know if we were available for Aug 17th. It is a Friday night (two weeks away... and those of you with young girls now it is the premier of HIGH SCHOOL musical, but anyways I told her we were available and so she proceeded to tell me..

this will be her and her husbands 2nd marriage they were both happily married for 54 and 57 years old they lost there spouses and never thought they would fall in love again but they did and now at 76 years old they are getting married again. HOW CUTE IS THAT!!! We are sooosososo excited to be doing there wedding. I met them today and they were absolutely adorable. Annie was so cute....she even showed my her engagement ring she was soo excited about it. We will post pictures of there wedding soon after so be looking for the wedding celebration pictures of Annie and Andy around the 18th of Aug!!

Thursday was a HOT BUSY DAY!!!!!

Not only was Thursday HOT and I had to be outside with all my photo shoots which I started at 10:30 and did not end until 7:00 that night. But the highlight was shooting this Senior from Mt. Pulaski he was a great kid but the session almost got cut short when we heard this thug and realized a SNAKE had fallen from the tree we were standing under. Now the only reason I did not scream...was because I had no breath in me to scream. Now if it had fallen on my....OMG I would have died. Needless to say I was a bit jumpy the rest of the day!!!! But they were all great sessions and I had fun with each of the kids!

This young lady came all the way from Normal, Il for her Senior pictures to be captured by Creative Candids. That made me feel special!!!

We are already booked for May, June, July and Aug of next year and the other months are going fast. And with the ad we ran in the paper this weekend the other months are going fast too! It is soo sad to have to turn clients away. But I guess being in demand is a good thing! ;-)

It is so cute we have had young brides calling us and even mature Brides calling us. I had a lady call today and she is getting married next month and she wanted us to be there to capture it. She will be getting married on her 76 birthday! How fun is that!

I had to throw in this shot!! I love this they were soosososo cute. They will be celebrating 60 years this fall. That calls for some celebrating. This was the brides grandparents. And if grandma looks familiar to you imagine her in a blue vest with lots and lots of pins...because she is the sweet young lady that check your Sam's ID Card at the front door! She has been working there for years. She took vacation time for her granddaughters wedding but it looking forward to getting back to work!!
