WOW!! Thank you!!!!!!!

Thank you, Thank you & Thank you to all our wonderful friends and family for there outpouring support...Today was eventful to say the least. Jenna was wonderful today and held down the fort and kept CC moving and posted the info on the site to keep you all updated...(even though she posed as me ;-) lol)

Jason is home from surgery and doing well. It will be a long recovery so please please continue to pray!! He has to be face down completely for 55min of every hour of everyday for two weeks. He will be have to be off work for at least 4 WEEKS!!!! OUCH!!! and we are still not sure on the full extant of recovery time. He will hopefully gain his vision back quickly but it could take up to 6-8 weeks.

For those of you in the dark...here is a letter my mom sent out today........
Jason went in today to see a specialist for his eye. And they have found that Jason has a detached retina....he will need emergency surgery.
They set the surgery for today at 5:00p.m..
He has to be back at the Dr.s office at 2:00p.m. for prep.

I spoke with Eric Lohse (his partner is doing the case). He reassured us that Jason was in excellent hands (Besides the Lords). Eric L. Says, the doctor is the 'best'. Eric plans to speak with the doctor and call me back with an update ASAP. He was able to explain some things to me as well.
Brandy understands that the retina is completely detached except at the Maculla. The maculla is still attached. If it were detached that would be the worse case scenario & it would be really bad news. We are thankful
that they went in to see this new doctor when they did.
They will reattach the retina and we'll know then the extent of the recovery.
They classify the problem in three stages. They believe that Jason's is in the 3rd stage, but won't know that
for sure until the get in. If it is the 3rd stage they spoke of recovery on his stomach with face down for one month.
No work, laying face down 55 minutes of every hour. Ugh!
He'll be discharged tonight. We realize that these are just facts and that the Lord has been and
continues to be in charge. What the doctors predict and what the Lords allows are two different things.
I guess what we're saying is that, we believe in God, know He is present and know He answers prayers.
Jason is feeling calmer as well as Brandy. They are feeling the prayers. Pastor Pat is going to meet them
and pray with them at the office. Madi is being cared for. All we need is prayers at this point.
Thanks for keeping the prayer line going. Love you all, Terri

Jason will be home and VERY bored I am sure...phone calls, notes, visits are all welcome. Thank you for coming along side us today and lifting us up. We felt the prayers and will continue to need them in the future. We are blessed beyond words with the most amazing friends and family.

And on a side note...Jenna called me with the cool news about Trash the dress contest. She figured we needed some good news and boy was it fun to hear about! We are soo excited to even be in the finalist list. There are so many amazing photographers and to be part of TTD is pretty cool! We had a blast taking the pictures and would love for you all to vote for us! We know some like the idea and some don't..our intentions..to have fun with it and our clients love the idea and we have had amazing times creating fun TTD sessions. We will post this week of our other TTD sessions.

Keep you posted on Jason and thank you again...we know that God is watching out for us!!
