Celebrating With the Matthews Family

I am honored to be apart of an Organization that Celebrates with Families that adopt a child. It is such a blessing to meet parents who are willing to love on these children that would other wise be possibly neglected. This week I was able to meet the Matthew's Family and what an honor it was. Janelle, Andrew and of course Isiah were wonderful. This little guys has to be the cutest thing ever. He was full of beautiful smiles and contagious laughs. Thank you guys for letting me capture your first family pictures and allowing me to meet you guys.

Seniors 2009

We have already started Senior sessions for the Graduating Class of 2009! This fantastic senior is just the first of some amazing sessions we have for this year! Absolutely amazing! We had so much fun with her. We used new locations and made an incredible start to this season!

Gas prices and then some

Ok, so I usually don't post things like this but I decided that everyone needed to be aware of this. Yesterday I had to fill up our truck with gas and I stopped into a gas station I have never used before.. Super Pantry on Stevenson due to the extreme hike in prices yesterday I decided to only put in $21.00..hoping it will go down again (even a little) in the next day or two. Anyways, when I got home I was checking my account and saw that this gas station not only debited my account for the $21.00 I bought (that's fine), they also debited out $76.00!!! as a "drive off insurance" so that if I would not have paid for my gas..(mind you I put in my debit card and pin before pumping) then they could get 76.00 from me. It will take 3-5 days for that debit to come off my account and for me to be refunded my 76.00 that I never authorized in the first place. I have never heard of a gas station doing this. And the employees, and the manager of this station were un-helpful and very rude. I finally had to call Springfield Police to ask for this help in the matter because I was getting no answers or help from the gas station it-self.

So to make it worse not only are gas stations killing our check books with the price of gas, now there taking more money out of our accounts "just in case". So watch your accounts and what gas stations you go to...they do not post that they do this!

Baby Days at St. Johns

Don't forget to come check out Baby Day at St. Johns on Sunday. It will be alot of fun and educational. I have gotten to know Shannon Mathis and I am soo excited to be working with her. She is an amazing person and has a wonderful spirit! I look very forward to working with her in the future on other events and hopefully with March of Dimes!

Ok....so I have to take a moment and give a huge PRAISE to our Best Employee EVER!! You have all talked to her or meet her. She is my brain, my calendar, my sound off, my D.Q (Drama Queen)..she is the glue that holds our office work together. She is the girl behind the scenes with me that sometimes does not get noticed,

She is JENNA Kirk.....

Jenna has been with us for what seems like forever and she is not only a huge key in the flow of Creative Candids she is a huge piece of our family. I usually do not mix engagement pictures with such child like designs but Cars is Jenna's All time favorite and sooo I thought I would surprise her with this. Her whole bathroom is decorated with Cars.

Jenna...Thank you soooo much for all you do. We appreciate everything you do for us as a business and as a family. Life would not be the same with out you apart of it! You are by far the best employee we have had, you are LOYAL, TRUSTWORTHY, Creative, energetic, compassionate, and you love your job..it is a passion and that what makes you so good. You love people, You love Madi ;-) and you are an amazing person. Your creativity and your goals have strengthened and expanded while you have been with us and we can not express enough to you...how thankful we are.

Baby Days at St. Johns

For all you new parents, parents-to-be and even those of you who have been parents for awhile..come check out Baby Day on March 2nd, from 12:30-4. In Memory of Ella

Some of you know about Ella Parnell- Peters....she was an amazing little girl. Ella was two years old and had many health issues, and we were able to meet her and capture her beautiful smile and personality late last year. We were very saddened to get the call from her mom that on Monday evening Ella went to be with our heavenly father. Ella blessed many people who she meet, she touched the heart of those around her and she has forever made an impact on our heart here at Creative Candids. We mourn with the family yet praise the name of our heavenly father whos arms are caring little ella around. She is free now, free from pain and able to live like a two your old should. Ella we will miss you and we are soooo greatful that God allowed your little heart to mark a spot on ours.

Where have I been??

Sorry I have been gone for soo long. It has been a crazy couple of months. From the busyness of Fall Pictures and Jason's emergency surgery the Christmas rush, I am surprised I am still sain! Ok...no comments from all of you! LOL During the time lapse of entries on our site....A few things have happened. Other than being extremely busy with clients and with Christmas Card Creations (Over 1,000 Christmas cards will be sent out this holiday that were created by Creative Candids...That is a little exciting..sorry to brag on us for a second...LOL) anyways with all the jazz going on...I decided we needed one more surprise to throw in. So Santa came a bit early this Christmas and has added to our family of three plus a dog and Madi and Daddy received Pixy last Saturday. She is a puggle. A Pug and a beagle. She is the cutest darn thing and has added much excitement to our house-hold. Not that we need more but she has been fun. Many of our clients have had a chance to meet her and some even wanted there picture taken with her..it has been cute!!! Well I promise to add more pictures soon of clients so I must go and get everyone done before the 25th is here. Maybe then I can work on OUR Christmas cards for 2007!! Truth be told..2006 cards never happened. LOL
